Welcome to the Fern Alley Music Series! Established in 2023, the Fern Alley Music Series has quickly become a beloved community event, celebrating music, art, and culture in the heart of the Lower Polk. ​

Experience the Fern Alley Music Series—where music, art, and community unite! Join us Saturdays, May–December 2025, for a vibrant marketplace featuring art, crafts, live painting, vintage finds, and local merchants.

2025 SCHEDULE:

  • May 10 Season Kickoff– with Nilo Ayele & Friends – Experience the infectious Brazilian rhythms of Samba, Forró, and Axé with Nilo Ayele & Friends as they bring high-energy performance to the heart of Lower Polk. Get ready to dance, groove, and celebrate!
  • May 24– feat. The Rusconators – Get ready for an afternoon of smooth grooves and funky beats! This exciting event will feature an electrifying performance by the Rusconators, led by the talented local musician and educator Kit Rusco.
  • June 14 – Polk Pride – Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of LGBTQ+ pride, creativity, and community. We’re excited to present Polk Pride, an event dedicated to celebrating the incredible talent and contributions of LGBTQ+ musicians, DJs, artists, makers, and local nonprofit organizations.
  • July 12with Michelle Lambert – Come enjoy Michelle’s show and bring your friends and family for a fun and entertaining experience! Her fiery red hair and colorful costumes will catch your eye and her songs will win your heart.
  • July 26 – feat. Makrú – Landing in San Francisco from different parts of the world, various characters got together for different motives and goals at the end of 2008 and became Makrú, a musical tool to express their points of view, and ideals and support the causes they believe in, chasing equality and unifying people along the way while doing what they love.
  • August 9 Comedy Lands – Get ready for an afternoon of laughter, beats, and good vibes at Comedy Lands! We’re bringing together the best of stand-up comedy and the hottest DJ beats for a unique blend of humor and music you won’t want to miss.

Music City Entertainment is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting local musicians by providing commission-free performance opportunities.
